As we grow we work towards being entirely dedicated to the best in Eco-sustainable contemporary high fashion. Ivana Basilotta is a label, that uses Eco, natural and organic fabrics. Our organic fabrics Suppliers are certified according to the Eco-text standard. We use manufacturers and suppliers in Europe, Turkey and India. Ivana Basilotta supports positive changes.
We use the craftsmanship of local artisans and we work with small manufacturers and suppliers. All the manufactures we use pay fair wages and do not use child labour. The silk we use is organic peace-silk also known as Vegetarian silk. Peace silk is manufactured in a process where silkworms are not killed. " The moths emerge from their cocoons to live out their full life cycle. This is the best silk for warmth and therapeutic use, it is rare and not commercially available.

About the designer Ivana Basilotta
Italian by nationality, born and educated in Germany and now based in London, Kensington. Ivana Basilotta has designed and created dresses for some of the world's best-known personalities. In her early 20 s Ivana opened her couture boutique in Kensington, only to find herself letting go of all business affairs a few years later to follow a spiritual path.
Not only a designer, Ivana has been dedicated to her spiritual study since 2000. Most of that time was spent in silence and on mediation retreat in India and Italy. During this time her focus was solely on self-progress and deepening her relationship with the Supreme soul. With the guidens of some of the world's renowned spiritual teacher's Ivana spent most of her time dedicated to her spiritual work" A time of bliss". "I like my live to be a live of constant positive changes, there is so much I can do by starting with myself." At the start of 2008 Ivana chose to re-establish her Eco designer label, embracing the world through different eyes. Ivana supports several charities and is also a teacher of meditation.
